NEW SERVICE 202

THE NEW SERVICE TRUCK IS IN (S-202). THE NEW TRUCK IS A 2008 GMC 2500 HD SIERRA PICK UP WITH AN 8 FOOT BED AND HAS AN 8 FOOT PLOW.

THE TRUCK'S STICKERS WERE MADE BY SIGNS PLUS IN TOWN, THE LIGHTS ARE BEING PUT ON THE TRUCK BY J&S RADIO IN WILLIMANTIC AND THE TRUCK CAME FROM GATES GMC IN NORTH WINDHAM.

THE TRUCK IS REPLACING A 1953 DODGE POWER WAGON THAT WE GOT FROM THE GOVERNMENT A LONG TIME AGO. THE TRUCK HAS A 6 FOOT PLOW AND A 100 GALLON TANK WITH A SMALL PUMP.

IT WAS AN ALL DAY JOB TO PLOW THE FIRE HOUSE PARKING LOT OUT.

THE TRUCK DID A LOT OF WORK AT THE FIRE HOUSE BUT IT WAS TIME FOR IT TO GO.

THE NEW TRUCK WILL BE FOR PLOWING SNOW AT THE FIRE HOUSE,
FIRE POLICE, TOWING THE TWO TRAILERS THAT WE HAVE (THE GATOR TRAILER AND THE WTR TRAILER), TO GO TO CLASSES, WE MAY PUT A PUMP AND A TANK BACK ON IT. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT GOING OUT FOR A CALL.
