One Year Later

A hard day to forget, being the first on the scene and calling it in while the plane is going down.

When you drive by today, the trees are still burned and there is an area ribboned off. You have to pass it going to and from the fire house everyday, and to realize it was a year ago- it seems like it just happened yesterday. You can't help to think about what you could have done better or if there was anything you forgot to do, it was all a learning experience for each and everyone of us. That day, and the experience will be with me for a long time.
