Dumpster Fire at the Heights

This year at the Heights Apartment Complex the early morning dumpster fires are getting out of control. Thankfully they are not full and the dumpters were moved away from the buildings a while back.

Box Truck Fire

A box truck fire at the end of Baker Road. Car 202 and Firefighter Miles Jr made a good knock down- to their surprise the truck had some magnesium in it. The fire was in the cab part of the truck. The Engine Tanker used about 200 gallons of water and 150 feet of 1 3/4 line off the bumper, the trash line. (But remember we'll never use that.)

A Car Off Tuckie Road

One car off the road in the morning. The car ran over a sign, crossed a front yard, hit this tree and ended up in the woods. The driver was transported to WCMH by Willimantic ambulance.

Brush Fire on Crystal Road

A homeowner was bruning his brush pile when it got away him and started his camper on fire on a high fire day.

ONE CAR ROLL OVER ON BEAVER HILL IN ONE OF THE BAD TURNS. SPEED MAY HAVE BEEN A CAUSE OF THE ROLL OVER. NO TRANSPORT.
